Shoreline work is a whole different animal. You're dealing with soft ground, water right at your feet, and very little room for error. Getting heavy equipment close to the water's edge without making a mess of the bank takes real precision - and that's exactly the kind of job we live for.
This one was a slip installation built to handle both boats and float planes. That means the approach, the depth, and the overall layout all had to be done right. Float planes don't give you much flexibility when it comes to entry and exit angles, so the excavation work had to be clean and accurate from the start.
Working at the waterline with an excavator takes a steady hand. Too aggressive and you're fighting erosion and instability. Too conservative and you haven't actually solved the problem. We've done enough of these to know where that line is - and how to stay on the right side of it without cutting corners on the finished result.
What we ended up with is a slip that's functional, safe, and looks like it belongs there. The shoreline is clean, the approach is clear, and the whole setup is ready to handle regular traffic in and out. That's the standard we hold ourselves to on every waterfront job we take on.
Tough access jobs are kind of our thing. Whether it's a remote shoreline, soft ground, or a site with limited room to work, we bring the right equipment and the right approach to get it done properly.
